The National Instructors and Coaches Association

The National Instructors and Coaches Association is a union formed in 2018 to support freelancers in the arts and sports, with its main base being private music teachers. NICA is part of NTUC (National Trade Union Centre) and has partnered with ABRSM to help bring training to music teachers in Singapore. The scope of the partnership involves, supporting ABRSM training events (syllabus seminars and teacher conferences), with 50% funding for NICA members when they attend ABRSM events.
